what's the plan
In our bright studio and shop in Skadarlija district you will learn the basic slab-building technique used for hand-making plates and bowls. In this two-hour workshop you will make one plate and one bowl and decorate them as well. This is not only a creative and relaxing activity, but also a productive one. We offer good Serbian wine to all participants or coffee/tea if you prefer.
All pieces are left in the studio to dry and to be glazed and fired afterwards. After 10-14 days, the pieces are delivered by post to your address in case you are not around for pick-up in the following seven days after the workshop. We haven't had any pieces broken in the shipping.
All pieces you make are food safe - clay, colors, glaze.
Shipping cost is not included in the price. For lower price we suggest pieces to be sent to as less different addresses as possible. For example, four pieces sent to an address in Europe costs cca. 25€ per address.
Kids and parents workshop is one hour long and has lower prices. Please contact us for details.
Since the first workshop held in November 2016 more than 1200 satisfied people have taken part in our workshops.

about your host
I handcraft fine porcelain tableware using porcelain from Limoges, France. It's been a 15 year long journey behind that. I fell in love with the art of ceramics as a student of Chinese language and literature by discovering a minimalistic ideal of beauty of the Far East, contrasts and harmony of solid and fragile. This proved to be the perfect introduction to porcelain.
True value of handmade and ceramics is something blurred in these days when we rediscover some old values in a new form. That is why I started with these workshops which are fun. Since the first workshop in September 2016, more 1200 people went through it. Welcome!
