what's the plan
We will start the tour visiting the Zabljak Crnojevica, which used to be the old capital of the Montenegrin state. The remains of old fortress and the views from it are something that for sure will attract your attention. After exploring this not very often visited place, we will continue our way to Vranjina, which used to be an island, but today is connected to the mainland. Passing by the place called Little Venice and then Lesendro fortress, on the road connecting the cities of Podgorica and Bar, we will drive towards Virpazar. When we find ourselves in this picturesque place, you will have a chance to visit the old trade center of the Crmince area. Also, we will visit the fortress Besac which dates back to the XV century, but has been recently renovated. From the fortress there are magnificent views of the lake and Virpazar itself. Afterwards you will choose whether you want to have a lunch break at some restaurant in Virpazar, or rather near the lake in the restaurant on Vranjina. Especially for those who like fish and wine, this will be such a great gastronomic experience. However, on our way back we can make a stop on Vranjina if you want to take photos, enter the National park visitor's center or shop some domestic wine and other products in local Winery.
